I’m no Cinderella, but I know that pumpkins are magical!
There are unreal places where you feel like you live in a story! That happened to me when I visited the Carefree Pumkin Garden in north Scottsdale, Arizona.
An enchanted garden, full of pumpkins! It’s a well known in the area, so locals already know that when Halloween approaches, you have to visit Carefree. It is a small place, with a population of about 4,000 inhabitants, it is a residential area and the truth is that it is a new town, from the 50s.

I knew since I studied English (and from seeing it in movies) that when Halloween comes around, Americans and Brits always have pumpkin carving as a family activity. They use pumpkins or also called pumpkins that are large, and if I’m not mistaken, they are also used to make sweets. Last year a friend gave us one of these huge pumpkins so that we could have our own carved pumpkin and let our imagination fly with a beautiful and original carving but… our imagination went on holiday and we started looking at the pumpkin in our kitchen imagining us eating it as a sweet marmalade on a toast. Suddenly, from one day to the next, it turned out that we cut it all into small pieces and the result was a delicious pumpkin marmalade that we enjoyed a lot!!

I thought the carvings they made were incredible, the expressions achieved were fantastic!

Here you can see the great artist at work, amazing! His name is Ray Villafane and I think words are unnecessary, when you see his work, you can clearly see his art.

How difficult it is to grab a jelly bean! This little one took away my jellybean, but hey, there were a lot of them and there were enough for everyone!

I interrupted this one’s inspiration!

I didn’t stay long enough to eat the toasted seeds!
